In 2009 Truth About Daisies  went from a quintet to a trio! Big thanks to former drummer Dan Sonenberg who is off fathering triplets and writing operas and the like, and also to  percussionist Burd who is doing other projects such as the vaudeville band Over a Cardboard Sea.

Truth About Daisies trio retains the songwriting core of Sheila McKinley and Doug Swift, as well as the beautiful harmonies and bass riffs of Ronda Dale. As before the band continues to feature vocal harmonies, and the original songs draw inspiration from a range of stylistic traditions, including urban folk, country, and smart, melodic pop.
